Millions of Ukrainians have been left without electricity, water and heating ever since Putin stepped up his attacks on critical civilian infrastructure. Explosions have been heard in Kyiv, after air sirens went off early in the morning on Christmas Day. The Kyiv city administration urged people to go to shelters after the air alert was announced. The Kremlin had previously warned that there would be no let up in its military campaign over the festive period. According to local media, two explosions were heard in the capital city, one of which was reported to be on the left-bank of the river. Can Putin be trusted ?
