The Russian Center for Culture and Science in Bucharest was established based on the agreement between the governments of Romania and Russia regarding the opening and operating conditions of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Moscow and the Russian Center for Culture and Science in Bucharest, signed in Moscow on July 9, 2013.Romanian authorities decided to suspend the activity of the Russian Center for Culture and Science in Bucharest, the suspension of the Center’s activity will take place by August 20, 2023, at the latest, by which time the administrative procedures involved in this measure must be completed.
