Twitter chief executive Elon Musk has apologised over an exchange he had on the platform with an employee.Mr Thorleifsson, who sold his creative agency Ueno to Twitter in 2021, did not want to say how much he was paid for the company. However, there is speculation that Twitter would have to pay him a considerable amount upon his departure from the firm. It came after worker Halli Thorleifsson tweeted to Mr Musk saying: “Your head of HR is not able to confirm if I am employed or not”.After a series of follow up questions and answers Mr Thorleifsson said he received an email confirming that he had been fired. Is Elon Musk becoming reckless in his actions ?
