European Union Cracks down on Illegal content on X

It is the first such step Brussels has taken against a major online platform since this year introducing the Digital Services Act, a sweeping piece of EU legislation that cracks down that heightens online companies responsibility for content moderation. The EU crackdown on illegal content on X comes after identifying disinformation related to Hamas’s October 7 attacks in Israel. Do you think that this is a targeted attack on X specifically ?
