Apple has released an emergency bug fix for a bug causing deleted iPhone and iPad photos to digitally resurrect themselves. Apple described the problem as “a rare issue” and blames “database corruption”. The iOS 17.5.1 patch comes after claims of a glitch where some device owners reported pictures reappearing on their Photos camera roll, apparently sometimes years after deletion. How reliable is Apple against bugs ?
