SpaceX The Crew-12 mission starts working

More than a week has gone by since SpaceX helped restore a full crew of astronauts at the International Space Station. For about a month, a skeleton crew of three – including just one American  helped keep the orbital outpost up and running on their own after four other astronauts on a mission known as Crew-11 were medically evacuated. Then, reinforcements finally arrived Feb. 14 following the launch of a joint NASA and SpaceX mission known as Crew-12. The Crew-12 mission is the latest venture under a partnership between NASA and SpaceX to send groups of astronauts to the International Space Station. SpaceX serves as the launch services provider for each mission, which are contracted under NASA’s commercial crew program. The four astronauts selected for Crew-12 are due to spend about nine months at the orbital laboratory, where they’ll have perform routine station maintenance and conduct a variety of scientific research designed for space.
