Apple has just rolled out the third developer beta of iOS 27, and it’s packed with small but meaningful upgrades ahead of the software’s planned September launch. From a fully customisable Siri voice to a clever new way your phone reacts to your surroundings.Beta 3 activates a feature that existed in earlier betas but sat dormant: Siri voice customisation. Users can now adjust the pace and expressivity of Siri’s voice, choosing between two base voice options. The catch is that this feature requires on-device processing, so it’s currently limited to the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone Air.Beta 3 also brings a handful of quality-of-life refinements. The Reminders app gets a fresh icon with Liquid Glass-style to-do bullets. Photos settings now include a Show Rating Controls toggle, letting star ratings appear directly on thumbnails. Control Center displays cellular signal strength and network type even while connected to Wi-Fi. What is your experience with Beta 3 update?
