LinkedIn is reportedly testing a new ‘seems like AI slop’ button, allowing users to flag posts suspected of being generated by artificial intelligence. This initiative follows a 404 Media report indicating that a significant percentage of LinkedIn’s long-form (41%) and short-form (30%) posts are likely AI-generated.The professional networking site is also replacing its ‘enhance with AI’ post-drafting option with a proofreading tool that avoids significant AI-driven content rewriting.Other major platforms, including Meta (which removed its Muse Image tool) and Reddit, have also recently implemented measures to address or restrict AI-generated content following user concerns. Do you think that LinkedIn professionalism is declining ?
