Metz has joined the social media platform from OpenAI and will report to Alexandr Wang, who leads the company’s AI efforts. Metz later returned to OpenAI earlier this year before making his latest move to Meta. The latest switch shows how quickly top AI researchers are moving between rival companies as tech giants compete to build more advanced AI systems.The report says that Metz will work under Alexandr Wang, Meta’s chief AI officer and the head of Meta Superintelligence Labs.
