Govt warns of apps promoted through Facebook and Instagram that can steal your money

The government has issued a new warning against Android malicious apps that are being promoted through ads on Instagram and Facebook. These apps are disguised as adult-content applications and can potentially take control of a smartphone and steal money. Notably, the warning has come from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
