UK summons Russian official over ‘attempted drone attack’

The UK has taken a decisive stance alongside Germany as it summoned the Russian charge d’affaires in condemnation of an attempted drone attack. The explosives were found close to Ukrainian cargo planes. Investigators believe they did not explode because of a faulty detonator. On Wednesday, German investigators identified two suspects they accuse of carrying out the attempted drone attack. Russia has denied any involvement in the attack.
