Netflix Inc. laid off several high-profile film and television executives Wednesday, amid a broader round of job cuts, as the company struggles to find its next generation of hits. Among the senior people let go were Doug Belgrad, a former Sony Pictures executive, and Carolina Garcia, director of original TV series, who worked on shows such as Stranger Things and 13 Reasons Why. The cuts also involved staffers in series development, independent film acquisition and publicity.Recent Netflix shows have seen their audiences decline in their second seasons. The service saw its Emmy Awards wins fall to a 10-year low this year. The stock has lost about 25% of its value this year. Do you think that the decline in sales is due to the chnage of the content being aired ?
