The African Union has the mandate to condemn and even intervene in cases where human rights are grossly violated for example in the case of Zimbabwe where the current president is using excessive force against the opponents. The Existence of African union is long enough to have started tackling internal wars within Africa such as the dealing with the rebel groups etc.However, The unity of the union is shaking , could there be someone who is behind the disunity ?
