AI godfather warns humans may no longer control AI

After the recent incidents that involved AI agents from popular tech giants like Anthropic, OpenAI and Meta, hacking into systems, the AI Godfather Geoffrey Hinton has sounded an alarm that this progress of AI could also make the technology much harder for humans to control. The Nobel Prize-winning computer scientist reportedly highlighted that as AI systems become smarter, they may develop more advanced abilities that humans struggle to manage.While AI is expected to bring major benefits across industries, there is need to highlight theĀ  importance of making sure that future AI systems remain safe, reliable and under human oversight as the technology continues to evolve.
