On July 19th 2021 famous ice cream brand Ben and Jerry’s vowed to end sales of their ice cream in illegally occupied Palestine territories, with these plans coming into effect following the end of their license agreement with an Israeli distributor next year. The company was founded by two Jewish men, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, and has been known to champion prominent social justice causes. Although Ben & Jerry’s plans to stop sales in the occupied Palestinian territories they aim to continue sales throughout areas of Israel within the pre-1967 borders. why occupy Palestine territory boycott?
