China launched a new group of low Earth orbit satellites from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in southern Hainan province. A group of low Earth orbit satellites is launched aboard a modified Long March-8 carrier rocket from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in South China’s Hainan province, Feb 11, 2025. The satellite group, the second of its kind that will constitute an internet constellation, was launched at 5:30 pm (Beijing Time) aboard a modified Long March-8 carrier rocket.
