Democracy is the government of the people, for the people and by the people and that is to mean that power is vested in the hands of the majority. However, after the election, the so called power is drawn from the people and any whistle blower is dealt with like a criminal and should you make a mistake of leading a demonstration then you will know that you have no right to speak on behalf of the majority. If democracy was put in practice than in theories then the voices of the majority could be heard. Do you feel like democracy is just a philosophy of hope?
