Equality is typically defined as treating everyone the same and giving everyone access to the same opportunities. Meanwhile, equity refers to proportional representation e.g 2/3 gender rule . However, the two are normally used interchangeably , achieving equality has seemed to be so hard and even in this world nothing is equal to each other and what people need to realize is that it is equity that we want first then after we have achieved that then we look for equality since the world is so discriminative , why do people wan to skip the terms and conditions?
