The ongoing automation of traditional manufacturing and industrial practices, using modern smart technology has disrupted the ways we work, learn and live. That disruption is an opportunity to build equity into the base of our evolving systems, from internet access to public education to corporate governance even before the pandemic. It’s a fusion of advances in artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), 3D printing, genetic engineering, quantum computing, and other technologies. How is it going to affect the world democracy in general ?
