Instagram has introduced a new feature to help users identify content made using artificial intelligence. It is an optional label, which users can add to their profiles to show that their content is created or edited with AI. For now, the feature is available to a limited set of users and is expected to roll out more widely in the coming weeks.Instagram said the new label builds on its existing “AI info” tags, which are added when AI content is posted or when AI tools are detected during creation. If a creator chooses to enable it, the label will appear on their profile bio and alongside their posts across Feed, Reels, and Explore sections.The social media company noted that using this label will not affect how users’ posts or accounts are shown on Instagram.
