Microsoft is building medical superintelligence

Microsoft is taking a massive leap in healthcare. An AI system from the tech giant has proven to be more than twice as accurate as human doctors at diagnosing complex medical conditions. The new system is called MAI-DxO (short for Microsoft AI Diagnostic Orchestrator). Unlike a normal chatbot, it works like a virtual panel of doctors. The AI uses multiple “agents” that team up to ask patients questions, order lab tests, and debate symptoms before agreeing on a final diagnosis. In a simulation using tough medical cases from the New England Journal of Medicine, MAI-DxO got the right answer 83% of the time. On the other hand, general physicians who used medical reference tools were correct only 36% of the time. Is this a human replacement ?
