After three of the four pipelines which form Russia’s Nord Stream 1 and 2 undersea gas supply to Germany were destroyed by explosions September 2022, Western officials were quick to point the finger of blame at Moscow. Western leaders anxiously await developments on the Nord Stream explosions as more reports emerge contradicting their account that Russia was behind the sabotage.
