There has always been people who reflexively conflate Conversations of diversity and equity with lowering the bar or not focusing on quality. It is not the work of underrepresented people to change minds. It is the work of over-represented people to change the system. What is the positions of our elected leaders if they are not honest with the positions they hold ?
