Practicing Cancel Culture

The forms of personal boycotting are often aimed at celebrities or people of interest and are themselves highly controversial, often being raised as modern examples of censorship or the curtailing of free speech . The term cancel culture is just a smoke and mirror tool of the culture war and the struggle for the dominance of ideology, social values, and beliefs between differing groups. Social or political actors trying to make an ideological case on social issues to utilise historic fear of the mob to gain support from those on the margins of the issue, who may not feel passionately but oppose similar issues or oppose censorship. what is your take ?
