Mayorsk is located on the outskirts of the town of Horlivka, also known as Gorlovka, north of the provincial capital Donetsk. The Russian Defense Ministry reported Sunday the seizure of the town of Mayorsk in Ukraine’s Donetsk region, the day after the full Russian withdrawal from the town of Kherson. President Volodimir Zelenski had reported heavy fighting on Saturday. “It is hell,” he said in a message in which he celebrated the capture of the town of Kherson following the Russian withdrawal after eight months of occupation. Is this Russian strategy to keep Ukraine troops concentrated on one side as they seizure important towns ?
