Russia’s economy was predicted to collapse after Western countries imposed unprecented sanctions on Moscow over the war in Ukraine. Russia has so far avoided an economic meltdown from the Western sanctions imposed over the Ukraine war. Some think Moscow will run out of cash in two years, while others believe the country remains in a strong position. Capital investment is up, the ruble has rebounded and inflation which soared when the war began has started to subside. Are the west sanctions working against Europe ?
