The European Commission is on a mission to have a newly proposed satellite mega-constellation to be offering some sort of initial service in 2024 which is to prioritize gaps in broadband coverage where ground infrastructure cannot reach the project will in some ways mirror America’s Starlink and the UK-Indian OneWeb networks. A consortium of aerospace and telecoms companies is doing that right now however the scope of the project is not yet known. What about other continents such as the Africa?
