SpaceX and United Launch Alliance are scheduled for a rare double launch

SpaceX and United Launch Alliance are gearing up for a rare doubleheader launch day featuring rockets not often seen.The SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket — basically three Falcon 9 rockets —will carry a Viasat broadband satellite to geosynchronous transfer orbit. The last time the Space Coast saw a Falcon Heavy launch was the Oct. 2024 Europa Clipper mission for NASA.The show is not over at liftoff, as spectators can expect to see the rocket’s two side boosters come back for a landing at Cape Canaveral Landing Zones 2 and 40, giving off twin sonic booms. Is SpaceX launches so many within a short period of time ?
