Taiwan -Chinese Peaceful Resolution

Taiwan and Chinese governments have not peace treaty that exists between them however they have shared economic ties since the late 1970’s. Both the Chinese and Taiwanese governments claim to be the legitimate ruling party of China in its entirety, since the end of conflict in the Chinese Civil War in 1950. Both governments of the Republic of China and the People’s Republic of China see themselves as the rightful government of the entire territory of China. Likewise both the Communist Party of the People’s Republic of China, and the political coalition of Kuomintang, People First Party, the New Party and Minkuotang all support reunification of the two nations on both sides of the Formosa Strait. The difference being both side’s claim to legitimacy and the time frame, with the Communist Party stressing the high priority of reunification with the One-China policy and the other Taiwanese parties seeking an eventual incorporation of the mainland into the ROC. WHich is the peaceful peace resolution mechanism between the two countries ?
