The Kharg Island of Iran

Kharg Island’s value is almost absurdly concentrated. Approximately 90% of Iran’s crude oil exports pass through its terminal, which has a loading capacity of around 7 million barrels per day and can service 10 supertankers simultaneously. Pipelines connect it to offshore fields, including Faridun, Darius, Cyrus, and Ardashir, as well as to mainland fields in Khuzestan. Most of Iran’s coastline is too shallow for large tankers. Kharg, sitting 33 kilometres off the mainland, is surrounded by water, deep enough for the largest vessels in the world to dock. It also has something almost no other Persian Gulf island offers: its natural freshwater supply. This combination of deep waters for anchorage, fresh water, and proximity to oil makes it the most sought-after destination for all. Do you think that USA can take Kharg Island from Iran through military means ?
