The summit presidency’s Action Agenda is designed to support the parties at every step. It comes in four parts, focused on fast-tracking a just and orderly energy transition; addressing climate finance; putting nature, lives and livelihoods at the heart of climate action; and fostering inclusivity. In this age of polarisation, the world desperately needs good news. Success in the financial sphere will also be critical to ensuring enough is done to adapt to the effects of climate change that are already with us, or that we can no longer stop. It is, of course, the poorest and most vulnerable communities that need the greatest help. And cop28 is an opportunity for all countries to come together to address an issue that affects everybody. It can, and should, deliver some good news. What do you expect to hear from Cop28 ?
