Several hundred Wagner Group mercenaries have returned to Ukraine according to one senior military official from the country.Wagner Group mercenary soldiers were an instrumental part of Russia’s strategy during several early battles of the war in Ukraine. This was especially true during the campaign to take Bakhmut. On September 18th, Ukraine’s National Resistance Center reported that as few as 1000 Wagner remained in exile in Belarus. The report claimed 200 Wagner mercenaries were serving as instructors for Belarus’ Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ministry of Defense. Will the Wagner group have the same impact ?
